Historic Bluffton Arts and Seafood Festival

Fourth Annual Historic Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival   October 20-26, 2008

HISTORY

The mission of the Historic Bluffton Arts & Seafood Festival is to help further a sense of community and to benefit the citizens, the local area merchants and artists through tourism.  The citizens of the Town of Bluffton have expressed the need for protection and the maintenance of the quality of the May River and the Bluffton Oyster Factory as instrumental to our community.  As Bluffton continues to grow it is paramount that we continue to introduce our citizens, old and new, to these precious Bluffton gems.  Festivals are magnets that bring young and old, rich and poor together to celebrate their community.

It is our purpose each Festival event to help in the protection of the May River, and to assist in establishing a Bluffton Oyster Factory Public Park for the enjoyment of generations to come.
